The 3 R's of teaching are often thought of as reading, writing, and arithmetic. However to a teacher on summer break it's more like refresh, renew, and reflect.

While reflecting is often the hardest part. What can I do better next year? First, you have to admit that an area of your teaching that deserves improvement. Where can I strengthen my curriculum or lesson plans? My reflecting lead to this blog. After much thought, I decided to start my own blog. I will no longerdrool look at the other gorgeous teaching blogs and wish that I too have a blog. Okay, I will still probably drool at the wonderful writing style and voice of others, but now I have my own place to share about my teaching.
